Visit the vibrant, older Tokyo area of Asakua, famous for the Sensoji Temple and Nakamise-dori shopping lane. Enjoy nature in Nikko, with its beautiful Lake Chuzenji and Nikko Toshogu Shrine. at Mt. Fuji, enjoy the mountain resort area of Hakone. Explore Kyoto and see the former Tokugawa era shoguns’ residence, Nijo Castle, the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. In Nara, visit Todaiji, home of the Great Buddha, and mingle with the deer at Nara Park. Marvel at the many lanterns at Kasuga Taisha Shrine, visit the “floating” torii gate at Itsukushima Jinja Shrine, and witness dedication to peace at the Hiroshima Peace Museum.

Baggage Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto on Day 5 and Kyoto to Tokyo on Day 8. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you.

Day 1
Arrive Tokyo Arrive at New Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport).
Your staff will meet clients at the custom’s exit and assist them in boarding airport bus. Transfer to hotel. Accommodations at hotel in Tokyo for 3 nights. For your accommodation, you can choose a hotel from the hotel list above.
Day 2
Tokyo
Full day tour in Tokyo. Morning, visit Meiji Jingu Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden (On Mon. & Fri. ”Imperial Palace East Garden” may be closed and visit “Imperial Palace” instead). Sensoji Temole (Asakusa Kannon) & Nakamise Shopping Arcade. After lunch. Tokyo Bay Cruise “Symphony” and ODAIBA Area.
Day 3
Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo
Full day excursion to Nikko by motor coach. Morning, visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Irohazaka zigzag driveway up to the mountains After Japanese-style lunch at local restaurant, visit Lake Chuzenji and KegonnoTaki Waterfall. Irohazaka zigzag driveway down the mountains and drive back to Tokyo. Tour disband on arrival at Ginza or Shinjuku between 19:00-20:00. No drop-off service provided.
Day 4
Tokyo - Mt.Fuji - Hakone
Deluxe motor coach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Enjoy Japanese-style lunch. Afternoon, proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi (Ashinoko Yuransen) and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Accommodation at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en with hot spring baths.
Day 5
Hakone - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Morning drive to Odawara for a Shinkansen train to Kyoto. Lunch at New Miyako. Afternoon tour to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple housing a great image of Buddha, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Park (Deer Park) where many tame deer are freely roaming . Return to Kyoto. Accommodations at hotel in Kyoto.
Day 6
Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, (When Nijo Castle is closed, visit Ryoanji Temple instead) and Kyoto Imperial Palace (on Sat., Sun & national holidays: visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine or Higashi Honganji Temple instead). Lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center. After lunch, sightseeing of the city visiting Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha, vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple with its wooden veranda. Accommodations at hotel in Kyoto. Day7 : Kyoto - Hiroshima
Day 7
Kyoto - Hiroshima
Transfer to Kyoto station to board a Shinkansen train for Hiroshima, Afternoon, visit Itsukushima Jinja Shrine and Peace Memorial Park. Return to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Accommodation at hotel in Kyoto.
Day 8
Kyoto - Tokyo
Free at leisure until departure. Return to Tokyo by Shinkansen in the evening.
Accommodation at hotel in Tokyo between 21:00-22:00.
Day 9
Free at leisure until departure.
(Departure time is announced to your hotel on the day before departure.)
(Your staff will meet client at the hotel and assist you in boarding an airport bus to Narita Airport)

Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway skipped due to traffic conditions without alternative on the following days; Apr.26, May 5, Jul. 21,26, Aug.2,3,9,10,15-17,23,24,30,31, Sep.14-15,21,23,28, Oct.4-5,13,18-19,25-26, Nov.2-3 & 22

When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter due to heavy snow, visit Fujiyama Museum instead.

Komagatake Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operational reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following alternatives; Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway. Your tour guide will finalize alternative places, based on careful study of Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine, Owaku-dani tour movement and other conditions.

We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.

For people proceeding to Kyoto after this tour, please note that your arrival time is usually around 21:30 but sometimes will be around 22:00-23:00 due to traffic conditions.

Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions . We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.

There is a possibility that your tour guide not accompany you on the tour bus or the Shinkansen back to Tokyo after Odawara station for operational reasons. In this case, your guide will provide information on how to go back your hotel from Tokyo station (Return by Shinkansen), or from Shinjuku / Ginza (By motor coach Throughout).

When “Fuji Visitor Center” is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, “Fuji Visitor Center” may be skipped.

Nijo Castle
- On Tuesdays in Jan., Jul., Aug. & Dec., "Nijo Castle" is closed and visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.

Kyoto Imperial Palace
- On Saturdays, Sundays & national holidays and some other days,Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed and visit "Kitano Tenmangu" instead.
- On Feb.25, Mar25, Aug.25 & Nov.25 visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter "Kyoto Imperial Palace".
