Experience Kyoto’s 1,200 year history in one morning! Visit Nijo Castle, the residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns. Marvel at the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, which houses sacred relics of Buddha, and stroll through the garden surrounding it, said to be the most beautiful Japanese garden in the world. Stop by Kyoto Imperial Palace before watching traditional Japanese artisans work their crafts at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. You can even make your own woodblock print under the direction of one of these talented professionals!

  • Nijo Castle
    The Kyoto Residence of the Tokugawa Shogun built in 1603, Nijo Castle is noted for the contrast of its solemn appearance and gorgeous interiors.
  • Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion)
    The most authentic and exquisite Japanese style garden in the world, plus the celebrated Golden Pavilion.
  • Kyoto Imperial Palace
    The ancient Imperial Palace clearly shows the Japanese taste for purity, simplicity and calmness.
  • Kyoto Handcraft Center
    Enjoy buffet lunch (free soft drinks included except alcoholic drink) and shopping at Kyoto Handicraft Center.

    After lunch, enjoy making your own woodblock print or cloisonné (of your choice) with assistance of the English-speaking staff of Handicraft Center.

- On May.25, Out.25 visit "Ryoanji Temple" or "Daitdainstead.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter "Kyoto Imperial Palace".
